Shanghai is a fast growing city and an exciting place for innovation and development. How does this affect the young urban people? In the frame of the Shanghai Film Lab 2016, this question has been explored from the perspective of Swiss filmmakers.

Five short films have been produced in a cooperation between outreach gmbh Switzerland and the Documentary Studio, Media Center of Shanghai Theatre Academy. Swiss directors and DOPs realized the films with the support of students of the STA, technical staff and interpreters.
